Diane Brady, senior editor and content chief at BusinessWeek, and author of the forthcoming book Fraternity, featuring the stories of African-American students at Holy Cross in the late ’60s and early ’70, was the featured speaker at the 42nd annual gathering of the Holy Cross President’s Council in Kimball Hall on Nov. 14. The topic of Brady’s book blossomed from a feature story that ran in the March 12, 2007 issue of BusinessWeek.
Brady poses with Rev. John E. Brooks, S.J., president emeritus. Her book, due out next year, focuses in part on Fr. Brooks, who encouraged them to attend the College and helped mentor them during their time at Mount St. James and beyond.
