DGI Technologies and Major Theatre Equipment Corp. install a new sound system in the basketball arena at the Hart Center. The new Bose Room Match system was engineered specifically for the Hart Center to provide leading edge audio for all events in the building.

The display in the background, which was recently installed, includes the names of the offices under the Division of Student Affairs. Students, faculty and staff attended a celebration titled “Celebrating 50 Years of Student Affairs at Holy Cross: Empowering, Engaging, Educating our Students” in the Hogan Campus Center. The purpose of the event was to highlight the division’s accomplishments and to help expose students to a career in the field of Student Affairs.

Peterson presents Rev. Earle Markey, S.J. ’53, a plaque for his service as vice president of Student Affairs and dean of students at Holy Cross. Peterson is only the third vice president of Student Affairs at the College.
Melisa Jaquez ’06, assistant director in the Career Planning Center, delivers remarks at the event. Jaquez spoke about the impact that the Division of Student Affairs at Holy Cross had on her college career which inspired her to pursue a career in the field. The Career Planning Center is part of the Division of Student Affairs. She was previously assistant director in the Office of Multicultural Education, also part of Student Affairs.
