Valentine’s Day Reading and Crafting in the Community

Five student athletes, coordinated through the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), spent their Valentine’s Day reading children’s books about Clifford the Big Red Dog, and making arts and crafts with young children. Through the event — which was sponsored by Edward Street Child Services and held at Rotmans Furniture and Carpet Store — the volunteers from the women’s field hockey team helped to promote child literacy.
