On Tuesday, April 28 Rob Tiro ’15 won a seat on the Wakefield School Committee. There was a three-way race for two seats and Tiro won by 140 votes. Tiro had many supporters during the election especially members of the Holy Cross community including: Daniel Creme ’15, Joseph Vara ’15, John Milligan ’17, Jonathan Formichella ’15, David Cieremens ’15, Michael Carboni ’18, and many others.

Public service runs in the family as Tiro’s grandfather Anthony “Chubby” Tiro served on the school committee in Chelsea for over 30 years.
