On Aug. 11, Holy Cross hosted a pizza banquet and awards ceremony to celebrate the end of its six-week Middle School Success Institute. In attendance were Sullivan Middle School students and their families, Holy Cross President Rev. Michael C. McFarland, S.J., Worcester Mayor Joseph O’Brien, and Superintendent Melinda Boone. In addition to recognizing the achievements of the middle school students, O’Brien presented each of the six Holy Cross student organizers with a key to the city.
