Gov. Charlie Baker visited Worcester in honor of Veterans Day. Gov. Baker took part in a dedication ceremony of the home, which is the very first Veterans Build project of the MetroWest/Greater Worcester chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The renovated house, on 79 Kendig Street, is the former meeting hall of the College Hill Civic Association. The home was built for Marc Ewings, a Marine Corps veteran, and his family. Fifteen Holy Cross students volunteered at the home in August as part of a Community Service Day through the Odyssey program at the College.
