Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols Offers Many Festive Scenes

A holiday tradition since 1978, the Office of the College Chaplains and the College Choir at Holy Cross host an annual Festival of Lessons and Carols for Advent in St. Joseph Chapel.

Freak Snow Storm Dumps More Than a Foot of Snow on Campus

Snow arrived early this year; weeks before trees had a chance to shed their leaves, in fact. Nearly 15 inches of snow fell in the area, leaving thousands of local residents without electricity following downed tree and power lines. The Holy Cross campus, which was playing host to hundreds of families for Family Weekend, was largely unaffected by the storm except for downed tree limbs.

Mother Nature Plays April’s Fool Joke on Central Massachusetts

March didn’t exactly go out like a lamb. Several inches of snow fell overnight from March 31 to April 1. But with temperatures reaching above freezing, much of the snow melted by the afternoon.
