Freak Snow Storm Dumps More Than a Foot of Snow on Campus

October 30th, 2011 by

Snow arrived early this year; weeks before trees had a chance to shed their leaves, in fact. Nearly 15 inches of snow fell in the area, leaving thousands of local residents without electricity following downed tree and power lines. The Holy Cross campus, which was playing host to hundreds of families for Family Weekend, was largely unaffected by the storm except for downed tree limbs.
