What This Summer’s Solar Eclipse Looked Like From the Hill

It was just after 1 o’clock in the afternoon on August 21st when the moon began to pass between the earth and the sun. Though Worcester is far from the “path of totality” of the solar eclipse, the reduced sunlight and crescent sun made for a haunting, other-worldly view of Carlin Hall. If you hope to see the next eclipse on Mount St. James, mark your calendar for Monday, April 8th, 2024!
