Chris Matthews ’67, host of MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews” and NBC’s “The Chris Matthews Show,” delivers a talk on his new book “Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero” before a packed audience in the Hogan Campus Center Ballroom at Holy Cross.
During a reception held in his honor, Matthews signs a copy of his book for James Powers, professor emeritus of history. Powers was Matthews’ history professor when Matthews was a student at Holy Cross.
Also during the reception, Konnie Lukes, Worcester city councilor, presented Matthews with a key to the city.
Scores of students, faculty, staff, and members of the Worcester area wait to have Matthews sign copies of his book in the Hogan Ballroom Lounge following the talk.
