On April 11, the Holy Cross Libraries joined libraries across Massachusetts for MA Library Snapshot Day, an event designed to document a “day in the life” of libraries of all kinds across the state. Throughout the day, libraries staff and student volunteers documented library activities through photographs, comment cards, video interviews, social media and more. The Worcester Art Museum Library highlighted its “Monuments Men” exhibit. George Clooney’s character in the film, George Stout, later served as director of the Worcester Art Museum.
An ongoing College Archives exhibit celebrates the 200th anniversary of the restoration of the Jesuit order by highlighting items from early in the College’s history, including its early library collections.
