From a pig roast to a performance by LA Rapper/R&B Singer Luke Christopher, from the Easy Street Fair to a carnival, students reveled in the spring weather as part of Spring Weekend.
A favorite for many was the HOLI Color Festival, sponsored by Developing and Educating South-Asian Ideologies (DESI), a student multicultural organization. Also known as the festival of colors, Holi is a celebration of spring in which participants wear white T-shirts and throw dry colored powder. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring. Spring weekend closed with fireworks and a performance by Jessie J at the spring concert.
